Troyer History

Troyer Race Cars is arguably the most recognizable name in both the NASCAR Asphalt Modified and DIRT Modified industries, and for good reason.  It's roots go deep into the history of American motorsports, as Troyer was among the first official modified chassis manufacturers in the country, and has remained among the most successful since 1977.

body shop

The body shop is where we manufacture both Dirt & Asphalt Modified bodies.  Our staff pride themselves in producing the highest quality body panels on the market; providing supremely aerodynamic, burr-free, full color panels for your race car.  From 4' X 8' sheets of aluminum & steel, our sheet fabricators transform each blank into quality panels to fit your race car, new or old!

chassis dept.

The chassis department is where high quality steel tubing and plate, manufactured exclusively in the USA, is transformed into Troyer Asphalt & Dirt chassis and components.  The tubing for each chassis is cut using our CNC plasma coping machine, bent, and assembled on our dedicated chassis fixtures.  The chassis is then welded in a very particular sequence as to prevent weld distortion and minimize heat effects on the tubing.

After welding and inspection is complete, the customer is provided the option for a wide array of powdercoat options.  If and when the car returns from powdercoat, brake lines, body, and components are then installed at the request of the customer.

In the event that your chassis has been involved in a crash, let our experienced staff assess its condition and get your chassis back to Troyer factory specs before your next race.
